Original alcohol ink and permanent ink painting was on 9x12 yupo paper. After reading about the complex grief rituals elephants exhibit, the artist attempted to depict how one member of the herd might console a grieving friend. This piece was on the cover of the May 2024 issue of Heart River Voice.
